A review of Jason Kwan’s Affiliate Formula Exposed

I’m fairly new at affiliate marketing, but I’ve been stunned at the incredible number of products that come out each and every week claiming to offer the answer to making a lot of money in a hurry. I get countless offers to promote new books and “systems” and after a while, my eyes glaze over. They’re all the same. So when Jason Kwan recently offered to let me review an advance copy of his “Affiliate Formula Exposed”, I nearly passed, figuring it was the same old same old, rehashed yet again. I did want to see how a high school kid made more than $175,000 in two years, though, so I decided to read his book after all.

It turns out that Jason does have something to offer. In fact, his book describes the exact methods that he used to make his “fortune.”

There were four things I needed to know about Affiliate Formula Exposed:

• Was the book well written and useful?
• Could I put his methods to use right away?
• Is there anything new, or is it the same old stuff?
• Is the product fairly priced?

Jason’s story is an unusual one; most people don’t earn the “big bucks” while in their teens. He got interested in affiliate marketing and bought a bunch of ebooks and found that their methods didn’t work. He was able, however, to “tweak” those methods to create some powerful techniques that brought hundreds of paying customers his way, along with thousands of eager e-mail subscribers.

Affiliate Formula Exposed outlines exactly what he did to create a list of thousands of product-hungry customers and what he did to persuade them that they ought to buy their products from him, rather than from some other marketing guru. A large part of the book is devoted to building your mailing list, because the mailing list is THE ticket to long term success. It’s much easier to make a sale to an existing customer than it is to find a new one. And how do you get those new customers? Using the incredible “squeeze page” techniques that Jason came up with.

The methods in his system are good. In fact, I put some of his Adwords techniques to use the very day I read the book in order to draw some dirt-cheap traffic to one of my sites.

The bottom line? I think this book is a good value for the price. The methods are newly improved versions of “tried and true” techniques and nearly anyone ought to be able to make money using his system. After all, if a 19 year old can make a fortune online with this system, why can’t you?
